iOS tech stack + Swift/SwiftUI guidelines for AI coding assistants

AGENTS.md

This file provides guidance to AI coding assistants when working with code in this repository.

Project Overview

This is the Praktika iOS application, built using Swift 6.0, SwiftUI, and Tuist for project generation. The app uses a modular architecture with separate Swift packages for different features.

Dependency Injection

  • Use Point-Free Dependencies framework (@Dependency) for dependency injection

Definition of Done — AI-assisted iOS development checklist

Definition of Done

A feature is not done until all of the following hold. AI assistants must satisfy this checklist before declaring a task complete or suggesting a commit.

This applies to every change — work scoped through plan mode (where the DoD is part of the plan's exit criteria) and ad-hoc work outside plan mode (one-line fixes, refactors, doc tweaks). No carve-outs for "small" changes — if it ships, it meets the bar.

  1. Code is written — the feature is implemented end-to-end, no half-finished branches or TODOs gating the happy path.
  2. Tests are written alongside it — new behavior has new tests in the matching Tests/<Module>Tests/ target. Bug fixes include a regression test. No "I'll add tests later."
  3. Build passes — run /build. Must succeed with the Debug scheme and no new warnings introduced by the change.
  4. Tests pass — run /test. Must succeed on the auto-detected scheme. Flakes are not acceptable as a pass — investigate per the Investigating Flaky Tests
