 tcpdump shows tons of broadcast arp and udp/1900 (ssdp), looks like a very large vlan
 broadcast CDP messages from a MikroTik router version 7.4 (stable), 7.19.2 is latest. host "fdc_1" port "ether1"
 router port 8291 open, WinBox? looks like a graphical management ui for MikroTik RouterOS
 no LLDP
 no IPv6 neighbors or routers
 no DNS PTR
 vm running under qemu/kvm with machine pc-9.2. virtio disk and network, nothing fancy
 qemu-ga agent running with no flags, wide open perms
 cloud-init logs/user-data make no mention of qemu-ga. Is this a Debian cloud image?
 looks like Proxmox
 systemd-resolved doing multicast stuff. maybe this is the default in debian now?
 systemd-networkd for interface config. neat.
 openbsd iso images available, nice. doesn't look like I can upload custom isos though
 browser based "noVNC" console. random port on a public ip with a bad cert. ick
 "free daily backups" doesn't look like I can schedule them or trigger one manually though.

 163ms ping latency from Seattle. Not great, not terrible.
 it looks like they only bill monthly and cancellation is on request... Looks like it needs human intervention to delete an instance. Doubt I'll get prorated credit for the month. Oh well.
