Pantheon Investigations is an independent research practice built on a single discipline: for every claim, what is the primary source? We apply it to contested public questions — reading the actual government documents, court filings, contemporaneous newspapers, and agency statements, and verifying quotes against the originals rather than repeating what has been said about them.
Three lanes, one method:
- Cold-case investigations — unsolved homicides, disappearances, and unidentified-persons cases, worked up with structured competing-hypotheses analysis and probability bands.
- Historical & contested-claim audits — famous "conspiracy" cases and disputed events, where our job is to separate the verified core of a claim from its overstatements, in both directions: we reject the myth and the reflexive dismissal, and report whatever the primary record actually supports.
- Government-transparency & disclosure releases — FOIA releases, Inspector-General reports, agency audits, and official document drops.
AI-assisted primary-source extraction paired with human review. We use an AI (Claude, by Anthropic) to identify, read, and synthesize primary records; a human operator handles final editorial control, fact-checks every load-bearing claim against the original source before publication, and is accountable for any errors.
Every load-bearing claim is tagged by tier — VERIFIED (confirmed by a primary record), REPORTED (asserted by a named source but not independently confirmed), or REFUTED-pending (in circulation with no citable primary source). Competing explanations are given probability bands, always including an explicit "unknown / residual" share. We state our uncertainty rather than force a verdict — and when a case is honestly unresolved, we say so.
We do not accuse uncharged, living, private individuals. Where the evidence supports only a category of person and not a specific one, we name the class, not the person. We critique researchers and theory-authors on the merits of their work, never as accusations against them. We name no offender the record does not support. We exclude non-public material and unsupported speculation.
We log analytical mistakes openly and welcome reader corrections — applied both in the discussion thread and in the source document itself.
No government, institutional, or commercial affiliation. No funding. No agenda beyond documenting what is in the public record.
All publications are free for journalists, researchers, and the public, with no attribution required.

Excellent start. I hope to read more of the work you are all doing. Its about time. An anchor of truth in an era of lies and deceptions.
