¡Hola! Me llamo Andrés García Rubio. Soy Mexicano (más específicamente Norteño/ de La Laguna). Actualmente estoy cursando el segundo año del Ph.D. en Mecánica en el Leduc Lab. También soy un Fulbright Comexus Scholar.

He cruzado la frontera México-EEUU más de 37 veces, 25 por la frontera terrestre del Río Bravo. Aparte de México, he vivido en Texas, Boston, Arabia Saudita y Japón. Cuando llegué a CMU pensaba que sería fácil manejar la transición y shock cultural al llegar, pero estaba muy equivocado. Obviamente puedo hablar inglés, pero como muchos de nosotros, no puedo expresarme con la misma fluidez que en Español. Estoy trabajando en pulir mi Portugués y Francés.
