Simplero features marketing site gaps — big & small product capabilities missing from features pages (grouped like competitors)

Features marketing site — product gaps

2026-08-05 · Inventory of Simplero capabilities that should appear on marketing features pages but currently don't (or only appear as a vague one-liner).

What marketing already covers

Hub (/features) — good skeleton

Grouped as:

  1. Marketing & sales — website/landing pages, funnels, checkout/payments, affiliates, sales pipelines, forms & surveys
  2. Deliver the work — courses, course AI, communities, memberships, coaching programs, events & live calls
  3. Email, CRM, automation — email, automations, native CRM, tagging/segmentation, newsletters, tasks
  4. AI throughout — page builder, email drafts, course assistant, sales pages, funnels (points to /ai)
  5. Infrastructure — mobile app, video hosting, global tax, multi-language, API/webhooks/Zapier, analytics, GDPR/2FA, migration

Dedicated deep-dive pages (often older / thinner)

Page Status
/features/email-marketing Solid classic content
/features/course-hosting-community Solid but pre–Simplero Live / Ideas / playlists
/features/payment-management Solid but misses installments, multi-currency, invoices, physical shipping, credits
/features/affiliate-management Solid on core affiliate
/features/customer-analytics Engagement-focused; not modern product analytics
/features/course-landing-page-builder Thin / outdated vs multiplayer + AI builder
/features/online-course-templates Done-for-you campaigns only
/features/support Support philosophy (not product help desk)
/ai, /app, /mcp, /coaching Strong dedicated pages (not under /features/*)

Competitor grouping we mirror

Competitor How they group What we borrow
Kajabi Product types: Courses, Coaching, Communities, Memberships, Newsletters, Podcasts, Downloads Product-type pillars + explicit “Podcasts”
GoHighLevel Capture → Nurture → Close → Membership Journey order for sales/CRM
Teachable Build / Market / Sell / Manage Commerce & learning ops
Simplero hub (current) Market → Deliver → Email/CRM → AI → Infra Keep as primary structure

Missing features (should be on features pages)

BIG Simplero Live (native livestream: chat, spotlight, noise cancel, recordings) Huge vs “Zoom integration only” Hub says “events & live calls / Zoom” — undersells native live

Size Feature Why it matters Notes
BIG Built-in help desk for their members Completely different from /features/support Rename/split pages
SMALL Video support responses (our team) Differentiator on current support page Keep, but separate from product

Suggested features IA (competitor-shaped)

Use Kajabi-style product types + Simplero’s journey groups:

A. Hub pillars (update cards)

  1. Attract — Website, blog, landing pages, funnels, forms, split tests, DFY campaigns
  2. Sell — Checkout, subscriptions, installments, order bumps/upsells, tax, multi-currency, invoices, cart, credits, affiliates, pipelines
  3. Deliver — Courses, memberships, worksheets/quizzes/certificates, playlists, webbooks, podcasts, video hosting + AI transcripts
  4. Community — Forums/groups/spaces, ideas boards, member directory, badges, mobile
  5. Coach & live — Coaching programs, scheduling links, events, Simplero Live, contracts, session credits
  6. Email & messaging — Broadcasts, sequences, newsletters, SMS, unified inbox (Interactions)
  7. CRM & team — Contact timeline, tags/segments/custom fields, deals, tasks, help desk, NPS
  8. Automations — Triggers + multi-step automations across the platform
  9. AI — Coach, course bots, MCP, transcripts (link /ai, /mcp)
  10. Platform — App (+ white-label), API/webhooks/Zapier, integrations grid, tax/GDPR, child accounts, migration

B. New dedicated /features/* pages worth creating (priority)

  1. Podcasts — missing product type entirely
  2. Scheduling & calendar — Calendly replacement
  3. Simplero Live / Events — native live, not “Zoom only”
  4. SMS & unified inbox — Interactions
  5. CRM & pipelines — expand beyond one line
  6. Help desk — their support tool
  7. Mobile (incl. white-label) — expand /app or new page
  8. Commerce depth — installments, credits, multi-currency, invoices
  9. Refresh analytics + page builder pages (outdated)

C. Explicit “Replaces” callouts (Kajabi pattern)

Examples to put next to cards:

  • Podcasts → Transistor / Buzzsprout / Kajabi Podcasts
  • Scheduling → Calendly / Acuity
  • SMS + inbox → ManyChat / GHL Conversations
  • Help desk → Zendesk / Help Scout
  • Live → Zoom Webinar / StreamYard (partial)
  • Credits/packages → Practice Better / coaching CRMs
  • Affiliates → Rewardful / FirstPromoter
  • Email → Kit / ActiveCampaign
  • Courses → Teachable / Thinkific
  • Community → Skool / Circle

Highest-ROI missing mentions (top 15)

If we only add a few lines to the hub, prioritize:

  1. Podcasts (BIG, zero coverage)
  2. Simplero Live (native livestream — not just Zoom)
  3. Scheduling links (Calendly replacement)
  4. SMS + Interactions unified inbox
  5. Help desk / tickets (for their customers)
  6. Payment plans / installments
  7. Session credits / packages
  8. Ideas boards
  9. Member directory
  10. Blog
  11. MCP (link /mcp from AI/infra)
  12. White-label mobile app
  13. Multi-currency + invoices
  14. Child accounts (agency/certification)
  15. Page split testing

Method notes

  • Compared live HTML for /features, all /features/*, /ai, /app, /mcp, /coaching, /crm
  • Product inventory from SimpleroFeature enum, Plan::FEATURE_DESCRIPTIONS, admin domain models, integrations
  • Competitor grouping from live Kajabi features + internal competitive analysis (doc/growth/2026-03-23-competitor-analysis/)
  • “Missing” means not meaningfully described on features pages — not that it doesn’t exist somewhere in the product or in a non-features marketing page
