Fix: Omarchy migration ("Repair the Copy URL shortcut") loops forever

Symptom

Running omarchy update gets stuck on this migration and never advances, even after closing every browser window and repeatedly answering Yes:

Running migration (1786643346)
Repair the Copy URL shortcut for profiles that predate its pinned extension id
 Close the browser windows to repair the Copy URL shortcut, then continue

How to update the Go version

System: Debian/Ubuntu/Fedora. Might work for others as well.

1. Uninstall the exisiting version

As mentioned here, to update a go version you will first need to uninstall the original version.

To uninstall, delete the /usr/local/go directory by:

Install lastest version of Neovim

git clone https://github.com/neovim/neovim /tmp/neovim && cd /tmp/neovim && git checkout stable && make CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo && sudo make install

Install packages needed for compiling

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt install autoconf automake bison build-essential curl flex \
  libtool libssl-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev libxml2-dev libreadline7 \
  libreadline-dev libsqlite3-dev libzip-dev libzip4 nginx openssl \
  pkg-config re2c sqlite3 zlib1g-dev

Setting up github and bitbucket on the same computer (Windows)

Guide for Windows

mix3d asked for some help using this guide with windows so here we go. This was tested with Windows 10. Run all commands in Git Bash once it's installed.

Github will be the main account and bitbucket the secondary.

Download and install Git for Windows
- In the installer, select everything but decide if you want a desktop icon (2nd step)
