Hi folks,
here's the email that Leslie and me drafted for all you to review.
When everyone is happy, we can send it to the Software Freedom
Conservancy, and then we can have a happy christmas.
Hello Bradley & Karen,
My project Voxpupuli[1] is interested in joining the Software Freedom
Conservancy.
We are a collective of Puppet module, tooling and documentation
authors all working together to ensure continued development on the
code we maintain. Most of this code is Apache 2.0 licensed.
We work under a shared name and namespace and synchronize our
efforts. Having no official relation to Puppet Labs allows us to
maintain our own pace and direction when it comes to how we work and
develop. However, all community members are welcome and this includes
many Puppet Labs employees.
I believe we meet your criteria[2] for working with the conservancy,
and would love to have a follow-up conversation with you about this.
With kind regards,
Igor Galić on behalf of Voxpupuli

I like this idea a lot

The wording sounds good. My one question is whether we've settled on stylizing our name as one word instead of two. I know most people will recognize voxpupuli from the domain names and GitHub org, but the website uses Vox Pupuli. We should just pick one stylization and stick to it.

Line 11: Our project. You use We regularly after this, which feels much more inclusive.
