New Window Pinned Tabs is a Chrome extension that synchronizes pinned tabs across all Chrome windows. This policy explains what information the extension handles and how it is used.

The extension does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or account information) to the developer or to any third party.

To provide its functionality, the extension maintains a list of pinned tab URLs using chrome.storage.local. This data is stored only on your device and is not sent to external servers.

The extension does not:

Track your browsing history for analytics or advertising

Inspect or log the contents of web pages you visit

Use cookies or any tracking technologies

2. Use of permissions

Tabs permission: Used solely to detect when tabs are pinned, unpinned, or removed, to read the URL of pinned tabs, and to create or pin tabs in other windows so that pinned tabs stay synchronized.

Storage permission: Used to store the list of pinned tab URLs in chrome.storage.local so that your pinned tabs can be restored after restarting Chrome and applied to new windows.

These permissions are not used for any other purposes.

3. Data sharing and sale

The extension does not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties. No data is used for targeted advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness decisions.

4. Children’s privacy

This extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Your continued use of the extension after any changes are posted will constitute acceptance of those changes.
