Somatic — Privacy Policy

Somatic ("the app") is a guided breathing app developed by Gregory Foster. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to keep your data on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Somatic does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs, and it does not connect to any server operated by the developer.

Data stored on your device

  • Session history — the breathing patterns you run, their durations, and completion status — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. It never leaves your device except through your own iCloud or device backups, which are controlled by you and Apple.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, Somatic writes completed sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. This data is stored in Apple Health on your device, under your control. Somatic only writes this data when you allow it, and you can revoke access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings. The developer never receives your Health data.

Children

Somatic does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
