Tritium is a RAM-only, zero-dependency key-value store that speaks the Redis protocol. A node is a small Go server in front of a RESP store (Valkey, Redis, Garnet). Any Redis client talks to any node.
- Nothing persists. Stores run with
--save "" --appendonly no; every key carries a TTL (default 17600 s). - Shard and replicate at the store level. Each node owns one RESP primary; replicate that however you like (the compose file gives each one a replica).
- Scale horizontally at the node level. A write goes to the node's own primary with
SETEX, then fans out to every other node's primary. Reads are local. Any node answers for any key.
