Да. Для обучающегося агента эта схема выглядит фундаментальнее, чем affordance → action → outcome.

Потому что affordance отвечает только на вопрос: «что среда позволяет сделать?». Но не отвечает: «почему агент выбирает именно это действие и чему он из результата научится?»

Более сильный цикл:

гипотеза → эксперимент → наблюдение → рефлексия → новая гипотеза

Причём affordance находится внутри стадии эксперимента:
