Write 1-2 paragraphs about your StrengthsFinder themes: How have you seen yourself using these strengths at Turing? Has your understanding of these strengths changed since you first reflected on them? If so, how?

-I feel like I have been able to use my strengths often at Turing and have definitely gained an understanding of how they come into play. I have been able to recognize the 'learner' in myself by working in paired projects and actually enjoying the process of problem solving with another perspective that enables me to see things through more than just my personal lens. I have also seen my connectedness and individualization working strongly during paired or group settings as well in just learning to code. I am always finding a way to connect what i learn to something else, or sometimes to past experiences or abstract relationships. I really love to find out how others think in regards to what i'm thinking and to recognize strong points that i should try to learn from. everyone is valuable to this experience.

Write a story about your Turing experience so far: When have you struggled? How have you dealt with struggle? When have you succeeded at Turing? How did you accomplish those successes?

-I have been at Turing for 3 weeks and 2 days (excluding weekend and work time). I have met so many amazing, talented, determined, intelligent and very different personalities! this experience has been the most mentally strenuous, brain-draining, and time/life-consuming challenge i have ever chosen to participate in. I feel like i'm barely treading water but yet i'm still sure that i will not drown. i feel insecure and yet proud.

Answer the question: how does your Turing story end? Create a vision for your future and your career transition into being a junior developer.

-I see the Turing chapter of my story ending with feelings of relief and pride and eagerness. A new chapter will begin..

After you practice storytelling in the session, answer this question: What was particularly easy or difficult about telling your story? What are 1-2 steps that you can take to continue to improve your abilities to tell your story, talk about yourself with ease, and examine your strengths?

I find it difficult to talk about myself but I enjoy sharing experiences with others. I think I could improve my storytelling abilities with pratice, I can get over the obstacle of social anxiety and discomfort if I try to expose myself to the situation more, and it will be more familiar.
