ClickUp Comment Guard (the "Extension") does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers.
- No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information.
- No Analytics: We do not track your usage behavior or send analytics data to third parties.
The Extension operates entirely locally on your device:
- Draft Storage: When you type in ClickUp, the extension saves a local draft of your text only when the 'Esc' key is pressed.
- Local Only: These drafts are stored in your browser's local storage (
chrome.storage.local) and never leave your computer. - Data Deletion: You have full control to view and delete these drafts at any time through the extension's popup interface.
The Extension requires the following permissions to function:
- Storage: To save your text drafts locally on your device.
- Host Permissions (clickup.com): To detect when you are typing in a comment box on ClickUp so the auto-save feature can work.
