Event Countdown Clock with Timezone Awareness

jQuery.countdown is a great plugin to create countdowns, but it needs a bit of configuration to use it with event countdowns.

When you need a countdown clock that:

• is aware of the event's Timezone
• displays a notice when the event is in progress
• displays a notice when the event has ended
• hides elements when they reach zero
