codemirror6 react custom autocomplete

In this gist we add Custom HTML and JSON autocomplete without overriding the original autocomplete. Each language support in code mirror exports nameLanguage (eg: htmlLanguage) to allow you to add custom autocomplete.

import React, { useMemo } from 'react'
import CodeMirror from '@uiw/react-codemirror'
import { json, jsonLanguage } from '@codemirror/lang-json'
import { html, htmlLanguage } from '@codemirror/lang-html'
import { syntaxTree } from '@codemirror/language'

A curated list of command-line utilities written in Rust

A curated list of command-line utilities written in Rust

Note: I have moved this list to a proper repository. I'll leave this gist up, but it won't be updated. To submit an idea, open a PR on the repo.

Note that I have not tried all of these personally, and cannot and do not vouch for all of the tools listed here. In most cases, the descriptions here are copied directly from their code repos. Some may have been abandoned. Investigate before installing/using.

The ones I use regularly include: bat, dust, fd, fend, hyperfine, miniserve, ripgrep, just, cargo-audit and cargo-wipe.

Cloud Object Storage Abstraction Layer

Q: Shouldn't we name it like Cloud Agnostic Object Storage Interface

The Object Storage is one of the fundamental services provided by the cloud provides. The objects are generally stored in the tree directory structure similary like on the file system. The objects are consumed either by API or in most cases by their unique HTTP URL or by cloud specific internal URI (See Appendix 1).

Motivation

The initiative addresses a growing need to support the hybrid cloud applications by allowing the developers to transparently access and manipulate the objects from within applications running in various cloud environments.

Zig in 30 minutes

A half-hour to learn Zig

This is inspired by https://fasterthanli.me/blog/2020/a-half-hour-to-learn-rust/

Basics

the command zig run my_code.zig will compile and immediately run your Zig program. Each of these cells contains a zig program that you can try to run (some of them contain compile-time errors that you can comment out to play with)

Linux Networking Reading List

Linux Networking Reading List

Currently in no particular order. Most of these are kind of ancient.

Where's all the modern documentation? So much of what I've turned up searching is other folks complaining about having few options beyond reading source code.

The OREILLY books, while dated, seem to be some of the best available. Note that these can be read with a 7-day trial. Do this! At least get through the introduction section and first chapter of each to see if it's what you're after.
