Save maxwellmlin/5e1ec9b2f988f466a9eeaceacf99baa8 to your computer and use it in GitHub Desktop.
mv -v ~/Library/Application\ Support/.lpxuserdata ~/.Trash |
I confirm newest version works
Apple is never gonna patch it
To expose the hidden files you need to do the same thing as you do when doing copy-paste but instead of pressing c or v you press dot
I keep wondering how is this glitch still working
Everyone report if it doesn’t work, i’ll help

No, for copy or paste you only press Command c or v . Here you press Shift Command Dot .
This does not work on mine, tried all permutations.
I have Discord if you need me to show it bud
What’s your username? I’ll add you.
You need to have downloaded Logic Pro trail and have opened it once, then close Logic Pro and then go to "Application Support"(in the Library of your User-folder)and there type at the same time Command-Shift-Dot and you should see the hidden file .lpxuserdata (N.b. "Dot" = . and "Shift" is the normal Shift, not the permanent one) On Sonoma 14.7.4 it works. I don't know about Sequoia.

The method to find the grey files works except for some reason theres no file for Final Cut Pro, just the Logic one. Do you guys think the .ffuserdata file for Final Cut is in an alternate location?
First download the Final Cut Pro "Free Trail" , install it, and open it once and close it again. Then the grey file will be there at the same location as the Logic file.

Thanks. I already had it downloaded and trial ran out. I'll try deleting the app and re-installing though, see if the file pulls up this time
So the file still doesnt appear but redownloading the trial gave me another 90 days
Wondering if we can do this to plug-in trials. For example, Fabfilter.

Just navigate into Macintosh HD disk and try pressing CMD+SHIFT+. at the same time to reveal all the hidden files. If that works just fine, then you are probably looking into the wrong folder for .lpxuserdata
file.
