SteamTheStreets SMS Multi-Factor Authentication Opt-In Policy

Overview

This document outlines the terms and conditions for receiving SMS messages related to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) from SteamTheStreets.

Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By enabling SMS-based Multi-Factor Authentication, you agree to receive text messages from SteamTheStreets to verify your identity when accessing your account. These messages will be sent to the mobile phone number you provide during the MFA setup process.

Message Frequency

You will receive SMS messages only when:

  • You attempt to log in to your SteamTheStreets account

  • You request a verification code

  • There is a suspicious login attempt detected

  • You change your security settings

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier plan. SteamTheStreets does not charge for sending authentication messages, but carrier fees may apply.

Supported Carriers

SMS delivery is supported by all major U.S. carriers and most international carriers. However, delivery to certain regions may be limited.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of SMS authentication at any time by:

  1. Logging into your account

  2. Choosing email instead of SMS for verification.

Please note that opting out of SMS authentication will require you to use an alternative method for securing your account.
