PlaneSignal Support

For help with PlaneSignal on iPhone or Apple Watch, email orenkatz@gmail.com. Include your app version, iPhone/Watch model, and a short description of the issue. Please do not include a home address or precise coordinates unless they are necessary to investigate the problem.

Common checks

  • If nearby traffic is empty, check network access and try a larger radar range or a major airport location. Aircraft coverage can vary by region and time.
  • If current location is unavailable, allow location access for PlaneSignal in device Settings, or choose a place manually from the location list.
  • If the Watch has old data, open PlaneSignal on the Watch and allow its location permission. The Watch can refresh independently when it has a network connection.
  • For an installation issue, confirm that iPhone and Watch have supported OS versions, then reinstall the Watch app from the iPhone's Watch app.

PlaneSignal Privacy Policy

PlaneSignal Privacy Policy

Effective September 16, 2026

PlaneSignal shows nearby aircraft on iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy describes the current app version. Contact: orenkatz@gmail.com.

Information used by the app

  • With your permission, PlaneSignal reads your device's current location while the app is in use. You can instead choose an address, airport, or coordinates. The selected radar latitude, longitude, and range are sent to ADS-B.fi to retrieve nearby traffic. The provider receives the request's network information, including your IP address.
  • Address and airport searches use Apple's MapKit and geocoding services. Apple's handling of those requests is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
