Gaffer is an unofficial Fantasy Premier League (FPL) companion app. This policy explains what data the app uses and how.
Gaffer has no backend and no user accounts. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to us. Everything the app needs stays on your device or is read directly from the public FPL API.
- Your FPL team ID (a public number), if you choose to connect your team. It is saved only on your device and is never sent to us.
- App settings (e.g. your Season Pass status). Also device-local.
- The public FPL API (
fantasy.premierleague.com/api): fixtures, player stats, and public team/league data. These requests go directly from your device to the FPL API. We do not proxy or log them. - The only Android permission used is Internet.
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not require an account or password (and never ask for your FPL login).
- We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising.
- We do not sell or share any data.
The optional Season Pass is sold through Google Play Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google under Google's Privacy Policy; Gaffer never sees your payment details.
Gaffer is a general-audience sports companion app and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
We may update this policy; the date above will change accordingly.
Gaffer is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.
