I've downloaded the standard Desktop version with a RTX 3080, KDE and no Steam Gaming Mode.

Desktop Environment

Using KDE the x11 package has to be manually installed and then choosen from the Login screen. This might fix issues with games: rpm-ostree install plasma-workspace-x11

Fedora / Flatpack specifics

Google Chrome provided by flatpack cannot be pinned to the taskbar properly, changing the startup args fixes that.

Disable NetworkManager

systemctl disable --now NetworkManager

Check if NetworkManager is disabled (all of them)

systemctl list-unit-files | grep NetworkManager

Install network-scripts

yum install network-scripts -y

If dns resolving fails: Setup some nameserver and try install again

Setup for SSH

Plug in the Yubikey 5 Nano and fire up the terminal.
