Development of Interstellar Travel (more sci-fi heavy)

  • Pre interstellar travel era (by most species at least)
  • Massive changes opened up by interstellar travel
  • much closer to real life (no travel by humans beyond solar system yet)
  • introduce much larger span of ancient timeline before
  • introduce aliens as scary foreign concepts, much different than ordinary Star Wars where all types of aliens are used to each other and exist
  • much more dangerous time, aliens as scary, lots of unknown outside solar systems
  • closer to sci-fi alien / UFO type movie eventually for first contact
  • intelligent life less common?
  • some similarities to Halo? But take much larger to develop. Timeline more on order of hundreds of years.
  • more engineering or science based
  • earlier stories on getting travel to work like Interstellar
  • later stories on eventual alien contact

The Path to Immortality

  • Sequel to Obi-Wan Kenobi show. Possiblity a movie
  • VERY different. Opportunity to have a very different movie that is basically all psychological/mythological and to delve into what that all looks like. This would be challenging and a great opportunity to develop something much more difficult and show what training actually looks like in this case
  • Focus on Qui-Gon Jinn and Yoda training Obi-Wan training similarly to how Yoda did in the season 6 of the clone wars with the Force Priests
  • He's already accepted the past of Anakin, now he moves on to learning immortality
  • Contrast with Plagueis Sith immortality of the body vs light side/ghost
  • Mention Qui-Gon training incomplete, finished later to become a ghost per appearance to be consistent with canon in the 1st season of the Kenobi show
  • References deleted voiceover scene from ROTS with Qui-Gon speaking to Yoda

fixing existing material

bifurcating Ahsoka Season 2 from Thrawn conflict

without spoilers, the bare minimum suggests that Ahsoka season 2 will cover both the other galaxy and the main galaxy's conflicts. Assuming that is true, I believe it should have gone a different direction:

(fantasy heavy) Mysteries of Peridea

  • Sabine / Ahsoka etc are stranded forever in the foreign galaxy (consequences of her actions)
  • more LOTR mythological heavy, lead to eventual release of Abeloth?
  • ronin as alluded to by Thrawn
  • exploration of very foreign galaxy
  • shouldn't be called Ahsoka, should be renamed like "Secrets of Peridea" Since the scope is much larger
  • Anakin aids as the father to help defeat Abeloth?

Heir to the Empire adaption (core characters/timeline)

Thrawn conflict should be separate; would be a great way to adapt Heir to the Empire trilogy into 3 movies, so casual fans wouldn't have to be as familiar with non movie content and allow them to fill up theatres

  • adapt those books while adding some new characters like Ezra/Mando/Zeb/Hera
  • chance to introduce other characters like Mara Jade
  • AI tools suitable for Luke/Leia/Han appearances
  • Peak Luke Skywalker
  • basically what should be the real sequel trilogy
  • Gryysk/Vong later?
