| # Privacy Policy for URL Manager Pro | |
| **Effective Date:** May 7, 2026 | |
| URL Manager Pro ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how your data is handled when you use the Extension. | |
| **1. Data Collection and Storage** | |
| The Extension is designed to work entirely locally. All data you enter—including URL structures, environment configurations, favorites, and credentials/passwords—is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage API. | |
| **2. Authentication Information** | |
| If you choose to use the "Credentials" feature, your passwords and API keys are stored locally on your device. The developer of this Extension does not have access to this information. | |
| **3. GitHub Sync Feature** | |
| If you choose to enable the optional GitHub Sync feature, the Extension will authenticate with your personal GitHub account using the GitHub Device Authorization Flow. | |
| - The Extension securely stores an OAuth token locally. | |
| - This token is used exclusively to sync your URL Manager Pro data to a **private** GitHub Gist on your own GitHub account. | |
| - No data is routed through or stored on any third-party servers other than GitHub. | |
| **4. Data Sharing and Transmission** | |
| The developer does not collect, transmit, share, or sell any of your personal data, credentials, or usage information. The Extension does not communicate with any servers belonging to the developer. | |
| **5. Contact** | |
