 Strengths & Storytelling Reflection Guidelines

 Build on your professional story by thinking about how you're progressing at Turing. Answer the questions below in your own gist to use your StrengthsFinder themes to add to your story:

 Write 1-2 paragraphs about your StrengthsFinder themes: How have you seen yourself using these strengths at Turing? Has your understanding of these strengths changed since you first reflected on them? If so, how?
  
  A collector of facts, obsessed with the distilation of ideas, a thinker, a learner and adaptable.  I see this helping me at turing when the time comes for the really conceptually difficult leasons.  My ability to absorb these ideas and then distill them for others might prove invaluable in my cohort.  However the caveats here are my tendancy to get bored once i understand a subject and no longer feel challenged by it, or how adaptability can also mean I have a hard time setting boundries with others and telling them no.  I have to be careful to not spread myself too thin at school but more importantly, at home.
 
 Write a story about your Turing experience so far: When have you struggled? How have you dealt with struggle? When have you succeeded at Turing? How did you accomplish those successes?

  I struggle with time management, especially in mod 1 in my first go around.  I have succeeded more recently with in my own endevors and helping others in the class.  Just sticking to a plan and timeboxing.

 Answer the question: how does your Turing story end? Create a vision for your future and your career transition into being a junior developer.

  I want to have an ethereum project started, be actively contributing to open source and have made a number of connections locally.

 After you practice storytelling in the session, answer this question: What was particularly easy or difficult about telling your story? What are 1-2 steps that you can take to continue to improve your abilities to tell your story, talk about yourself with ease, and examine your strengths?

  I think continuing to focus on what drives me, the desire to contribute to a technology that could profoundly change the way we organize ourselves as a society, will make it clear what my values are and excite anyone who listens as much as me.
