- Go to YouTube Studio.

Access Monetization Tab:
- On the left menu, click Monetization.

Sign Up for AdSense:
- Under the "Monetization" settings, locate Step 2: Sign up for Google AdSense.
- Click on Start.

Create or Link an AdSense Account:
- If you already have an AdSense account, choose it to link with your YouTube channel.
- If not, proceed to create a new account:
- Fill in details like account type (Individual), name, and address.
- Account Type: Choose Individual (since you’re operating as an individual).
- Name and Address:
- Enter the name as per your PAN Card.
- Provide an accurate residential address for verification.
- Bank Account Details:
- Add a bank account to receive payments. Ensure it supports SWIFT for international transactions.
- Required details:
- Account Holder’s Name
- Account Number
- IFSC Code
- SWIFT Code
- After submitting your AdSense application, Google may require:
- PAN Card: For identity verification (Indian tax regulations).
- PIN Verification: A PIN will be sent to your address (via postal mail) for verification.
- As an Indian creator, you must provide tax information in AdSense:
- Log in to your AdSense account.
- Go to Payments > Manage Settings > United States Tax Info.
- Complete the W-8BEN Form (for non-US individuals).
- This ensures reduced tax deductions under the India-US Tax Treaty (15%).
- AdSense will review your application. Once approved, you can link it to your YouTube channel.
- After approval, AdSense earnings will reflect in your AdSense dashboard.
- Payments are disbursed monthly once your balance crosses the payment threshold of $100 (approx. ₹8,000).
