FORMAT

This cup is used as a practice for The Clash and the Major Dodgeball Cup. The format is based on random matches, as soon as you finish a match you will be matched against someone else.

This is also a way to test the gamemode for competitive play (and seeing how to improve it inside and outside ShootMania).

Team = Group

  • Join as a solo, duo or trio group.
  • There are no bonuses by playing solo or in a duo.
  • A solo group can be matched against a solo, duo or trio group (and vice versa).
  • You can register up to 5 people, but a max of 3 players can play.

Cup Duration

  • 2 hours.

Playing Phase

Every group start from 0.

  • Winning a match gain you one victory point and increase your general points counter.
  • Loosing a match gain you one defeat point but doesn't decrease your general points counter.

A match is played on one map (Arena style) where you need to win 2 rounds. After a match end, you will be placed in a waiting queue and will be matched against a group that is also in the waiting queue (except not against the same enemies).

ENDING

When the cup end, current standing will stay for the next cup:

  • Your current group score will be used for the major Dodgeball cup

NOTE: There can be multiple winners.

FAQ

Aren't solo/duo groups disadvantaged?

Yes they are, but some people like challenges. Of course, if you want to play for the fun, play with some friends instead of being alone!

Who goes in team blue?

Random. (the plugin will manage that)

What happen if a group didn't connected in time?

It will be considered as a defeat, and they will go back to the waiting queue. If there is atleast one player from this group in the server, they must play.
